The Olin Business School's Center for Experiental Learning has been approached by the Department of the Interior - Bureau of Indian Affairs to create a business plan for an entity known as the "National Fund for Excellence in Indian Education".

Team members include four MBA students; Babatunde Ilori, Jessica Mills, Abhinav Agarwal and Linu Alex, as well as BSBA student Alex Janoff.

Advising the team is Washington University Professor Glenn Macdonald and the main client contact is David Beaulieu, Director of Arizona State University's Center for Indian Education.

Stephanie Kettler, Interim Director and Program Manager of the Buder Center is providing instrumental information in developing and the creating the business plan.

This example of the Business School partnering with the Social Work School speaks directly to one of the goals of the Interdisciplinary Initiative, namely;

"The provision of accessible scholarly research, professional consultation, and technical assistance in community, policy and program development and planning".
